Monday Blues (already?!)
Funny how I'm feeling Monday blues already, considering it's only Sunday night. Besides, I've not had Monday blues in a long while. That's so secondary school. Speaking of which, a few secondary school friends have been messaging and stuffs lately. More of that later.
It must be the fact that I had a really exciting week! Firstly- on Thurs night, Dyan's surprise party!
It was really exciting and heartwarming cause the poor girl actually cried. Of course, it helped that there was a spanking new phone with a branded strap as a present and really really really cute cousins. Heh.
I just wanna be how black.
The next day, I brought Apes, Ben and Hweech to work at TEC. Sigh, don't wanna talk too much about that cause I feel pretty damn bad! If you guys are reading this (I'm sure at least 1 is, HAHA) SO so sorry again!
Of course, I was straddling between the office and SABA's way overdue reunion dinner. I was extremely nervous because Morr was in for a surprise- her very first surprise party ever! I knew the girl would be overjoyed because it's been a really terrible couple of weeks for her. I'm so relieved that we managed to pull it off, amazing stuff!
Pity the photos of Morr looking like a Morr-on are not in my possession. Damn!
The weekend came to a brilliant end with Mikey & Emmanuel's year end concert. Watching them perform on stage, together with many other adorable kids, really really touched me. I hate being such an emotional drama papa, but watching those kids perform with such innocence brought a tear to my eye. In that very instant, I saw the future. A future that is getting bleaker by the day.
Anyhow, I had a meeting with my colleague whose wedding I'm emceeing next Mon! Am pretty worried because I just found out there's 550 guests!! Sigh, the heat is on man. Gotta start deciding on what to wear for that night.
Have an event tmr and Tues, looking forward to that but on the other hand, it just means I have alot of things to rush. Let me try to make a To-Do list.
1) Pack room because renovation begins on Wed. (No TV, No Internet, HOW TO SURVIVE?)
2) ASS-ignments. It's beginning to pile up and quite alot is due next week.
3) Emcee Script
4) Outfits for Wedding
5) Events for next 2 days
6) Get down to planning Xmas pageant
Hmm what else do I have on hand? Can't seem to think of anything else right now. As I mentioned earlier in the post, quite a few secondary school friends are asking me out now. Here and there. When it comes to reunions, I'm often apprehensive. On one hand, I look forward to seeing that familiar friend, but yet on the other, there's that "What If" lingering.
Anyway, it's going to be an extremely busy week! Take care you guys!
